Enjoy delicious, authentic and inexpensive Mediterranean Food in the numerous taverns in town. Convenience stores and souvenir shops are all in walking distance from the cottage. In the shopping precinct you can find olive oil, textiles, leather shoes, leather belts, natural products (e.g. soap) and many more things. An other big grocery store LIDL can be found along the way to Agios Nikolaos about five minutes from the cottage by car. There is an ATM machine at the main road of the village about 150 meters away from the cottage.

Kritsa is famous for its narrow, picturesque, entwined alleys and authentic village houses. The village can be discovered during evening walks along all the beautiful walks in and around Kritsa.
The Greek houses, Greek churches and old olive trees create a unique atmosphere: have your camera ready to take beautiful vacation pictures.
 
There are many sights in and around Kritsa. There are two bathing beaches only 10 minutes away by car: sun loungers, sunshades, jet skis and other fun activities are available. You can find other sandy beaches and bays with azure, clear water only 15 minutes away. The popular seaside resort Elounda is about 20 minutes away by car.
